Ok so i'v decided to buy a tablet cuz it'll suite my needs better the your standard labtop however i dont know witch one to choose.. it needs to be very versatile....
Heres what im gonna be using it fore...
Notetaking (inside and outside)
Scetching (just fore fun)
3d and 2d design (fore work, with programs like PhotoShop and SolidWorks)
multimedia (music movies ect.)

but it all so has to be fairly cheep, my pricerange is 1700$ to 2000$
One very important thing it that it dosnt have a "touch" screen... i want to be able to "rest" my hand on the screen as im writing/ drawing

What would you "fellas" recommend that i buy??

Definitely one with spell checking! [:-)]

If you are notetaking and sketching, a slate is probably your best choice. You can get a used slate in that price range. The Sahara, Fujitsu or Motion slates would do the trick. Your most likely to find a Motion or Fujitsu with indoor/outdoor screen at that price range. Look for LE1600 or ST5112. Check out the Buzz's for sale section.

Both of the previous mentions have an active digitizer rather than passive or combination so the resting your hand thing won't be a problem.
