I'm a little disappointed in the new crop of tablets - great form factor, lighter, etc. but no touch pad! I'm not a huge fan of the pointing stick. Can anybody tell me (or guess) if the new pointing sticks on the HP2710p or the Fujitsu T2010 are any good? I used an IBM ThinkPad ages ago that had a TrackPoint and it was fine, but I find unless it is an IBM/Lenovo, the pointing sticks leave something to be desired.
I was also thinking about the Fujitsu P1610 because of its small size, but am a little concerned about it being a bit too small to use even on a travel basis. I did rent one to try and it was "okay" - acceptable but underwhelming. I'm wondering if the moving up 1 lb in weight and larger dimensions to the HP2710p or T2010 are worth it (and then we get back in the trackpad versus stick issue).
Thanks.
