i've been having a lot of problems lately with my tecra m4.

first my video chip goes bad and it gets replaced with a new motherboard.

then 2 weeks later i start to get this noticable buzzing/beeping sound near my caplocks button. turns out to be the motherboard again.

2 weeks after that, my computer starts to crash every 40 mins. turns out to be my hard drive failing which cause the system to crash.

now today, the fan near the esc button is making a loud and weird buzzing sound whenever it gets turned on. the buzzing/beeping sound for the motherboard is back ( guess thats going to be another motherboard replacement) and now my screen flickers and my speakers don't work anymore.

anyone else having these sorts of problems? btw, laptop has never been abused oropped.

About two months ago, my graphics card went completely dead on my M4. It was still under warranty so I took it to a repair center to get fixed. Five motherboards later it is working fine.

The guy at the repair center told me that when any Toshiba devices are serviced under warranty, they use refurb parts which "don't always work correctly."

After the graphics were fixed, my sound buzzed and clicked all the time. Next, it didn't work at all. After that, the sound didn't work from the headphone jack... It took a good month to fix correctly. Luckily I didn't need to use my tablet during that time.

I would suggest just taking it back to the repair center and complaining if it is still under warranty... sooner or later you should get a working motherboard put in there.
