interface on LE series 1.8" drives???

Does anyone know the interface specifications of the 1.8" drives in the le series? I did some quick googling to see how much it might cost to upgrade a 30gb disk and came up with several interface formats. Apparently it's not as straight forward in 1.8" land as in 2.5 or 3.5" land.

I have a feeling that the different drive sizes on the LE1700 use different cables, so sometimes you might need a new cable to upgrade. I upgraded the 30GB drive to toshiba's 100 GB drive with no problem. I think upgrading 60GB to 1OOGB might be harder.

The LE1600 used either a ZIF or PATA connector. If you can post the model # of your hard drive I can tell you which drives are compatible for an upgrade. Or you can email my Tech Services Mgr. at peteh at alltp dot com.
