I've been looking at many types of TPCs. When looking for stuff for the X61, I saw a text mentioning "ridiculous" (as in very impressive) benchmarks figures as compared to non-turbo memory. I'll see if I can find it again :)
I haven't got a TPC yet tho, just something that sprung to mind when I read your post. Whether good benchmarks translate into "faster for you" depends on whether you use memory-intensive applications I guess.

Well my understanding is that this turbo memory is there just for booting and maybe getting out of stanby or hybernate...
Ihave received my X61 so I will do some tests as soon as I can with and without it.

Ok so I finaly tested it. Bear with me this is not very scientific as who knows when a PC is finnaly booted?
So I choosed to decide it was booted when the last visible sign of a boot appeared on screen: the green battery gage.
I did a few reboots with a given setting to check the improvement or non-improvement level
Without anything the time to boot is arround 6mn10s
With Turbo Memory arround 5mn10s
And know that I have installed Disk Keeper Premier: 3mn48s
Any better way to measure this? Let me know!
