Hi,
i recently put Vista on my tc1100, 1.2 centrino, 1.5gb ram.
It runs pretty well- ironically a lot better than my faster IBM t42 due to the better vista driver support of the nvidia card i guess...

Anyway, i am having problems using bluetooth... it works, yes, but i'm not able to use any services... i can't connect to my bt mouse, i can't use the serial port on my gps, i can't use DUN on my phone... i've tried the built in microsoft stack and it was ok, but it didn't do dun... so i tried installing the hp driver and it surprisingly installed with no problems. Same thing- i can't do anything...

how is everyone else using bluetooth? any tips?

Dmitry: WNewquay is our resident expert on installing Vista on the TC1100. Hopefully, he'll have time to comment before too long.

In the meantime, if you haven't already seen it, the Mobile PC Wiki is a good source of general information about Vista on the TC!!:

i referred to the mobile pc wiki when i decided to try out vista on the system... i had already tried it on my ibm t42 and it ran horribly because of the poor support for the radeon card built in... however with the nvidia on the tc1100, it works well... i had a heck of a time installing vista from my usb dvd- numerous errors that would crash the installer a few minutes into it, so i just made a bootable SD card and put it in a usb reader... apparently it took him hours to get it done... i had it up and running in 30 minutes...
i'd like to add to the wiki page, but i'm not sure exactly what i would have to offer would fit in...

It appears that the bluetooth works best using the built in microsoft stack. i just uninstalled the widcomm and let the other take over... everything works well now... DUN with junefabrics' PDANET and the bt mouse and gps work normally...
