My X41t has been to IBM EZserv somewhere around 7 times total now that I can remember.
1) Battery not charging
2) hard drive replaced
3) jumping cursor (replaced digitzer, made a hole in bottom right corner of lcd bezel, still had problem)
Then after a year of no problems except for #3, 4) the machine started rebooting randomly. When I got it back it didn't reboot randomly but instead 5) it froze randomly. After sending it back again 6) it still froze randomly, had pci errors, wireless card couldn't start, hard drive had developed bad sectors, and several other devices couldn't start under device manager. I sent it back again 7) and they kept it for 2 weeks before they decided to get me a new one. When they sent it back they forgot to send me my battery back.
You'd think after replacing the motherboard multiple times, digitzer, etc. they would have called my machine a lemon sooner. Especially since I am a laptop technician and told them it had to be some type of funky issue with cpu or something else because motherboard replacement did not solve the issue. Instead I was out of a tablet for >2 months and still have to call about my battery.
Moral of the story, upgrade your warranty to make home calls or get safeware insurance and dump pepsi on your machine instead of sending it to the depot.
