Lets hear about some experinces good and bad about upgrading acers to vista

I've been running Vista on my Acer 303 for over a year, going back to betas and now Home Premium. Every driver auto-installed in at least a dozen Vista installs on the 303 and never once has there been any issues.
Having 2GB RAM and the 7200rpm drive keeps speed as fast as XP was.
Vista's handwriting recognition (with training option) is amazing and order of magnitude better than XP. Flicks are another tablet stylus ideal tool.
Legacy applications have been easy to install, notable exceptions well-documented:
There's alot of bias and nonsense against Vista that should be balanced by those of us never regretting the choice. A dual-boot setup with both current XP and Vista partitions logical transition strategy. Upgrading XP to Vista not advised, Vista works best clean installed.
Look for constructive posts offering useful information, Vista forum right here good start.

I have an Acer C300 tablet and have been running Vista Business since the Public Beta. Acer has not updated their drivers for this model, but I have installed some from XP. Things have been working well. Pen input and screen rotation work.

I have installed vista business in my C110 with 756 Mgs of ram, used XP drivers for the buttons and everything runs perfect and quite fast, as much as XP before it.
Unfortunately my 2 batteries are old and get me 1:30 hour each, maximum.

pretty bad at first... about 6-10 crashes a day on windows vista. I suggest downloading the c310 drivers and all the windows vista updates and going to all the individual manufacturers sites to get drivers from them for your processors etc. that seems to have taken the hitrate down...

Something's not right having so many problems with Vista, we have the identical Acer model and I let Vista auto-install every single driver and have been running rock solid since last fall.
I really advise minimizing experimenting with drivers without specific reasons. The 303 has none except external secondary display Intel 855 chip video known issue Vista will update when/if ever available automatically as designed. The 303 and 310 have entirely different graphics architecture. One can add in foreign drivers but Vista will default back to original driver, as Device Manager will show.
More details on exactly what the crashes involve might help. Vista has very detailed crash reporting also.
If you have Vista Home Basic there's no pen support. Minimum is Home Premium, Business and higher.

yo - sorry if this has been answered already, but i tried searching the forum and there's something out of whack at the moment that's making all posting titles come up gibberish... but has anyone running vista on a c110 had issues/found resolutions for the wifi and bluetooth driver incompatibility problem? mine hangs every time i try to direct the device manager to the XP drivers, and i'm thinking since the wifi and BT are on the same antennae there's a common solution driver-wise for both. anyone had any experience with this?

I've just installed vista ultimate on my c110 and it's gorgeous.
3 problems remaining though:
1: I can't get the wireless netowrk to work
2: I can't get the bluetooth to work
3: The quicklaunch and BT/WLAN buttons do nothing
If anyone have solutions to this please post!

joppz- total shot in the dark here, but when i upgraded to vista, i found that bios settings had been changed, and that i had to re-equip my wireless/bluetooth module in the bios to make them work. all the drivers listed in the device manager worked, technically, but they were not actually turned on. check that first and see if that's you're issue!

I just bought an acer c112 and can't get tablet functions to work on it. Will the 310 drivers work on the Wacom in my tablet? If not what drivers do you have for the C110 and did they work upon installation of Vista?
