I used to be able to print to the Tabletplanner Notes section by selecting the TabletPlanner printer when printing from another application. However, for some reason the Tabletplanner printer seems to have disappeared from my list of available printers. Can someone tell me how to get it back? (If I have to a complete reinstall of tabletplanner, will I lose my data?)
Thanks in advance....
While you probably still have the Agilix Port and Agilix driver installed and could just add a new printer to access these, you might as well just make it Franklin-Covey's problem. They have on-line chat help that you can try out and report back to us on:

Well, that was an interesting experience (FC on-line help)!
They tell me that the latest build of Tabletplanner *removed* the printer option, and that I can't go back to an earlier build. Can someone verify the presence or absence of the Tabletplanner printer as a printer choice in other applications (such as Journal), and let me know which version of Tabletplanner that you have? I have the latest build:
version 2.0, SP:2, build:156.
The Help file still mentions a Tabletplanner printer as an option, by the way...
By the way, the on-line help person at FranklinCovey "understands my concern and sincerely apologizes for the inconvenience this has caused".

That's weird. Same build here, and I can print to the planner just fine.

This is definitely annoying -- the on-line help at FranklinCovey doesn't seem to know what they're talking about. I will say that after getting your message I reinstalled the same version & build... still no tabletplanner printer though. :-(
I'll be curious to hear if others have similar problems.

Here's one more piece to the puzzle: I went to the FC website to see what they say, and it sure looks to me like they list it as a function of the program. I just can't believe they would remove that functionality.
Here's an option, if you have an earlier build to install, try installing that, and then update via the automatic update to bring you to the newest build. That's how I got it.

Thanks for your comments, bpjen. That's how I originally got the tabletprinter too. But when I tried going that route again (after first removing the tabletplanner program), I get an error message when I try to upgrade and install the patch:
"the file C:\Config.Msi\PT1D.tmp has already been
modified by other means and can't be modified by this patch"
I guess you can't install the patch when you've done it on an earlier build. Anyway, it seems I am stuck with the latest download which gives me SP 2, Build 156, without having to do an upgrade. And, of course, NO tabletplanner printer!

My pleasure. I was so puzzled by this, I did a little more digging. You might want to try someone else at their online support. I went on and asked if they were removing the printer function. Here's my conversation with them:
You say, "Sure, thanks for your help, Ellie. Someone told me that you were removing the printer functionality in the last build. (the driver to print to tablet planner notes) Is that true?"
Ellie says, "No, it is not true."
Ellie says, "The print function will be there in our softwares."
Ellie says, "Do you have any questions regarding the information I have sent you?"
You say, "No, thanks for your help. I might be back in touch, this friend told me she lost the printer function, and when she asked how to get it back, she was told it was no longer available in the last build."
They also said: "Brian, you can ask your friend to log in to our online support and we will help her to get the issue resolved."
One other option: on their support site they have a page on manually removing the program. You might want to check it out to see if you can get everything out and then reinstall. Here's the link:

I hope you get an answer soon.

Thanks for the advice. I did go back to online help (I had Tyler yesterday and Erin today), and Erin contradicted Tyler's information of yesterday. Erin agrees with Ellie and says that the tabletplanner printer *is* in the current build -- I've just lost mine somehow. She suggested a manual uninstall like you mentioned, but says this will cause me to lose all my other virtual printers associated with other applications (and who knows if I'll be able to reinstall them?!) So I may be able to get the tabletplanner printer back, but I may lose other virtual printers in the process! So I'm not sure I'm willing to do all this just to restore my tabletplanner printer...

Update: I did the *manual* uninstall of FC Tabletplanner and then a reinstall, and the virtual printer is back! Many thanks for the help...

Great! glad it worked out. I know I'd be lost without that function...
