Hello to everybody, great and usefull forum, congratulations!

I have a problem with a c-500 tablet. It is the same like everybody: the damned pen. But in this case, after I have spent in it much more time than I wanted to, I took the decision of disable the pen, because in fact, I really don't need it.

I only tried to install it in order to avoid that annoying error message after booting. The tablet is going to be used by a discapacitated person as a voice sintetizer, and the pen is not needed, I only need a clean boot, without stupids error messages.

So if someone knows how to help me, and wants to say me, I will be very greatfull.

I take it you are using Xp

1: Press Start, Run, and type msconfig in the dialogue box, then press OK.

2: Click the Startup tab

3: Uncheck penmon and press OK.

That should sort you out there

4: You can then restart

5: Upon loading Windows you can choose not to show the 'message' during startup.

Hi, it worked fine. Also in W2K, wich is my OS. The only "but" is that windows 2000 hasn't the "msconfig" application implemented, and I had to download it and execute from the desktop and not from the "run".

Whatever, it was the solution. Thank you very much.
