Hi,
I did a bios upgrade from Vista with lastest bios publised on Fujitsu support. The update program checked a lot of things, except telling update from Vista wasn't supported.
The tablet has no bios now, booting gives you a black screen, leds flashing and nothing more.
do you know if there is a simple bios repair procedure? booting from a diskette or similar?
Thanks!

So you did not back up the old bios before the update then....I think you will to talk to Fujitsu support at
http://fujitsu.web.stream.com/index.cfm?SVC=455 to see if they can help you out there due to the BIOS enabled Computrace/LoJack that is in the setup there

Give this a go the following options may be used to restore default Setup values if the computer is not functioning correctly:
PhoenixBIOS -- On a computer with a PhoenixBIOS, you can press the F9 key in Setup to restore the default values specified by the manufacturer.
AwardBIOS -- The following function key options are available in AwardBIOS:
*
F5 -- restore old values (the values previously in use when the Setup program was invoked)
*
F6 -- Load BIOS defaults (the selections provided by Award to the motherboard manufacturer)
*
F7 -- Load Setup defaults (the selections provided by the motherboard supplier or integrator)
CAUTION -- Restoring system defaults may not correct operational problems. Previously defined changes to chipset settings may be necessary to enable booting or correct operation.
