I've just been comparing my Windows Experience Index with that of WNewquay's at http://mobilepcwiki.com/mpc/index.php?title=HP/TC1100/Windows_Vista_Installation_Notes
My TC1100 has the Intel Pentium M Centrino 1.2GHz, where his only has Pentium M 1GHz. I've got an upgraded 7,200rpm HDD in mine now and 2GB RAM - one of his has 4,200RPM and 1GB the other 7,200rpm and 1.5GB.
Anyways, I have 2.8 on the Processor compared to his 2.4 - so an extra 200MHz gets you .4 of a rating.
Memory is the same as we'd both have PC2700 RAM in, so it's just as quick, regardless of higher capacity.
Graphics I only have 1, where he has 1.9 - I assume this is due to me not yet installing any drivers?
Gaming graphics both on 1 due to ****ty TC1100 inbuilt graphics.
Then primary hard disk I have 4.8 compared to his 4.4, only way I can explain this is if he did the test on his model with the stock 4,200 rpm HDD? Or if his one with upgraded HDD has smaller buffer or something maybe?
