couple of months ago there was a post discussing the jumping cursor. it had a link to download a program which you could use to control this by turning down the voltage or something.

anyone know where that link is or what the program was called. i think it was a beta version.

i found the program! called notebook hardware control. i need to reinstall it becuase i just installed windows vista ultimate on my tablet.

i installed notebook hardware control but it wont run. it says it needs amdministrator user rights to run. i am logged on as the administrator and it still wont run. could this be becuase i am running vista now and not xp?

any ideas???

Hi Mike,

I'm not running notebook hardware control so I can't test this for you, but if you right-click on the executable, go to properties and click run as Administrator.

Does that help?

WNewquay,

it allowed me to almost run the program. it no longer says i need to be an administrator but my computer will go to a blue screen and then restart.

thanks for the help it appears to have worked but i guess i just cant use the program anymore. now i have to search for a new program to lower the voltage.

thanks,

mike
