I have a CX200X running windows XP Tablet version. The machine is about a year old. Recently for the first time I plugged my head phones in the machine to listen to my Itunes music and noticed that the sound volume was very low. I tried to turn up the sound and speech device in controls panel but no luck.
There is a tone control level in the advanced Volume control window which I noticed is greyed. And I read where the driver associated with my system does not allow for this feature. I had no luck looking for an updated driver on GW site.
First I'm not even sure if the driver is the problem.
I know playing the music without the head phones is not great ..but I figured the internal speakers in teh computer would be crappy anyway.
However on my IPOD ..with the sony head phones I use listening to the same music ..it's much better, and I expected similar if not better performance using the same headphones to listen directly from the computer.
Can anybody tell me how to fix this?
