I just got off the phone with an Acer Canada Sales rep and he informs me that Acer is no longer selling tablet PC's in Canada and will only be selling tablets to customers in the U.S. who are interested in quantities of over 100.

They have already pulled their Tablet product lineup from their Canadian website.

Its a shame. I bought a C300 over 3 years ago and other than having to wait for them to create a good BIOS I never had any problems with it. I was very likely to purchase another C300 series once they updated to the Intel duo core processor and now it looks like I'm out of luck.

I loved the full 14" screen but always wished it could do a higher resolution than 1024 x 768. If anyone has any recommendations I'm all ears.

I am in a similar situation. The only option I found listed on the Acer site was the C210 series and it's too small for me. I need to fine a new model for myself and something for my niece who will be starting college in the fall. I promised her a laptop but wanted to make it a convertable. If I can't find a decent screen size model I'll have to either give up on the tablet or muddle through with the C314 until it dies.

What about the gateway tablet? It's also 14 inch (although widescreen format), and it's price is quite good. I was wondering about it as my c301 is getting old, and can see needing to replace it in near future.
