I wonder if someone who has had success with the Vista mute question could post the Device Manager 'Sound, video and game controllers'...under 'Driver', I am showing Intel(r) 82801DB/DBM AC'97 Audio Controller. 'Driver Provider'-Microsoft, 'Driver Date'-2006/06/21, 'Driver Version'-6.0.6000.16386
I guess this is the wrong one (?) I can't seem to get anything else to install and, of course, I donwloaded the audio drivers from HP.

Hi jimguy,
Just reporting in. I've got two TC1100s running Vista (very happily) but solutions to this audio issue and the SD card (not working) are the two things that have eluded me.

Well, someone seems to have fixed the mute issue...perhaps it is related to getting the proper Administrative permissions in Vista to install the proper driver (one of the drivers listed on HP's web site)
