Gee so long and still no new Slate upgrade in sight.
I'm bored silly with my 4 year old TC1100
What new choices do I have.. I can't wait any longer.... ahhhhhhh!

want a brigher screen
try a 12 inch screen
faster would be nice
dvi out perhaps (dual monitors capacity)
faster wireless ?? 81011N would be a dream ( have SLOW b now)
bump case.. never could get a slim porfolio case, even though I though i did buy 3 times on ebay
USB 2
A pen that does not fall out
better speakers
Glamour.. jsut a sucker for the latest and greatest

Seriously considering the Motion 1600 has anyone got both or consider it a upgrade from the TC1100. View anywhere would be nice
I do a lot of coffee shop presentations and standup lectures

Convertables are not for me.

well, thereŽs a rumor about an upcoming new motion device. maybe a core2duo slate? who knows. iŽd expect april or may, after cebit2007 and with santa rosa chipset released.

Where in Canada are you located? I'm looking to buy a TC1100 if you're interested in selling it. What are the specs? I'm in Kitchener, Ontario. Thanks.

I don't think HP is going to release a slate model in the future. They've moved toward the mainstream tablet form factor, the convertible. I guess they just saw that few people prefer slates, and it's just doesn't make sense for them to go into a niche market that probably doesn't make them any money.
