Hey all.
I have vista on my home Computer, I find it a bit too controlling.
I was wondering if Someone Could List out the tablet enhancements In Sort of a down and dirty list that makes it worth it.

Is It so much better or does it Just look neat, all Dog and Pony?

Dave,

It's documented here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/features/details/tabletPC.mspx

Doesn't look like much but all together it makes a huge difference in my productivity.

I have converted all my portable machines to Vista.

Too controlling?
I felt this way too. After I had finished installing and tweaking things the User Access Control stuff just faded into the background rarely to be seen in the normal course of using the machine.

Thanks bunches. that helped allot.

another Question, do the Tc1100 have enough Processing Power for Vista. ? I have only the 1 gig model not the 1.2, but I do have the extra fast 60 gig hd

Will it be extra pokey?

I run Vista Business on my old ST4110 which is 800MHz and 3/4 of a gig of RAM. It runs about the same as XPTE, some things faster others slower. The tablet enhancements are worth it. I think Vista is too controling too, so I pulled some of its teeth...lol.

Dave,

I have Vista running on a 1.0 TC1100 and a 1.1 TC1100. Very little difference - and both are working fine. Here are some notes about installing Vista on the TC1100.
