Hi,
I'm running out of ideas here.
My external USB DVD drive isn't recognised at boot time by my Toshiba 3500. I have used a USB floppy drive to boot and find the DVD drive and install a driver for it, but still it will not boot from the DVD drive. The DVD driver is installed, then instead of giving me the option to boot from the DVD drive, I get "Bad command or bad filename". (I am using the floppy image mentioned elsewhere on this forum in the thread about booting from SD.)
I have also followed instructions on this site to boot over a PXE network. I can successfully switch to the folder with my recovery disk images, but the install.bat mentioned on this forum for running the install is designed for the M200. The 3500 recovery disks have a different file structure, so this does not work. Has anyone adapted the install.bat file to work with the 3500?
Thanks!
