Got the 1400VA...with HTK..love the unit.... BUT....I do think I am reasonably techie smart ... I cant figure out how to adjust the screen...isnt it supposed to tilt back to adjust rather than straight up....They say a photo is worth 1000 words but I would settle for about 500 or so to clue me in

Any suggestions or tips?

I am assuming you're talking about setting it side the prongs on the HTKB so that it's in "laptop" mode? If that's the case, it *should* be leaning against the back braces. The angle of tilt, however, is not adjustable (unless you count yourself physically adjusting to it ;) ). Is this what you're referring to, or am I off the mark?

guess that is the answer.....I thought when in laptop mode there was slight adjustment to the tilt...guess this is where the viewing angle helps!!

Are you in luck or what! If a picture is worth a thousand words then a video must be worth 1000 x frames/sec x #seconds......
Look at the neat video of the HTKB getting set up in John Hill's thread- 2 links. [thumbsup]
John's the man!

In hotel rooms, I adjust the angle by putting the inhouse directory/menu binder under the back edge of the keyboard, tilting it forward.

My HTK has that little cover at the back that slides and gives a small angle adjustment to the stand. Or is that not what your talking about?

thegallery...yes that is what I was talking about but does not seem to do anything...or so small an adjustment that I cant tell...but...for occasionaluse, it will work...in the meantime I ordered the flexdock from tech4less....
