View Full Version : I know this tablet was not intended to play game

I know this tablet was not intended to play games, but I expected it to be aple to play old games perfectly. As far as the cpu/graphics are concerned, I was right, but the keyboard is limiting me since I can't press more than 2 keys at once: for example, in a racing game I have to press up to speed up, at the same time turn using the left/right keys and shoot using the z key. If I only speed up and turn everything works, but if I speed up and shoot I can't turn or if I speed up and turn I can't shoot. Using an external usb keyboard that doesn't happen. Is there anything I can do, or do I have to stop playing and start working?

Seems like any keyboard should be able to give you at least three simultaneous keys, otherwise, Ctrl+Alt+Del wouldn't work. Any chance the number lock is getting turned on, turning keys like j k and l into numbers?

no, that's not the problem. Key combinations with ctrl, shift, alt all work (even if it's something like ctrl+shift+alt+z) but other key combinations don't. Also if
I try to use those keys in a game it doesn't work, since usually you don't press them like a key combination. It's like this was a keyboard just for work, everything you might need to work is allowed, but games are not.

As a work around you could try changing the shoot key to ctrl or shift. I have now clue why the keyboard wouldnt let you press three keys at once, but this might fool it.

Just to let you know: this problem disappeared after flashing the new bios.
