I am a heavy user of Dragon Professional. I was asked to test this Bluetooth Microphone a short time ago. This microphone is dedicated for speech use. I currently use a Motion 1600 with Dragon. Speech recognition is around 97%. This is under good conditions and with maintaining a distance of 12" more or less. Even with out complete instructions the installation went easily. (It was a preproduction model) After training, my speech quality went back to the 97% within one day. Why would anyone want this microphone? If you use a tablet and do not have a way to maintain the distance when dictating, or for anyone who has any type of background noise. This microphone was also tested with a Toshiba 200 ending with 98-99% accuracy. The only limit I can see is that this unit did not have an around the ear but rather only an over the head headset. Bad for my hair, but probably not a problem for most people. This is the technology that many have been waiting for! No external bluetooth required for those who have built in bluetooth. I am told that this unit will hit the streets shortly. If you have an interest in more information check with Martin at emicrophones.com
