I put my X41 in my tablet sleeve for the first time tonight and, when I removed it, noticed I had parallel scratches down the screen, which could have only been caused by the sleeve. This is absolutely unacceptable. The sleeve should not be engineered with materials even capable of scratching the screen. Has anyone else encountered this?

Dang. As soon as I fix one problem, another comes up.

dang man, I'm sorry to hear that.

but to be honest, the moment I saw that sleeve I threw it away. the workmanship is plain trash. the bag came with a rip right out of the box. I'd never trust my tablet with that thing. especially with the tablet sunny side up.

I own a Tablet Sleeve, but I haven't used it yet. I continuously need to hook my X41T onto the X4 Dock.

Does anyone know how to minimise this kind of damage? o_O

I use a wRitescreen on my screen and then place it in the sleave.

i use the sleeve, but mostly with the screen closed. occassionaly i do it with the screen open and very carefully put it in. IBM/Lenovo should be ashamed at making such a poor tablet sleeve... but i use it for now until i can find something better.

Are you sure it's really a scratch? Mine had some marks after I used it in the sleeve, but a little gentle rub with my finger made it disappear. If it really is a scratch, it's probably from some particle that was trapped between the sleeve and the screen.

I tried out writing on the plastic surface, felt nice. Didn't have to worry about naturally oily hands lol
