which is safer when turning the screen to tablet

which is safer when turning the screen to tablet mode?

1. screen at 90 degrees and being turned

or

2. laying the screen all the way down 180 degrees then turning it over?

i'm asking because i usually do the first, but today another m4 owner noticed me and said its safer for the screen to be turned in the 2nd method.

which should i be doing? thanks

I tilt mine about 45 degrees, then turn it.

I just would be careful not too apply too much pressure on the top right corner. I recently had a crack in the monitor develop. (not from a single instance I think, but too many turns with my thumb in the wrong spot.)

I usually do it the way you do, spdracer, but now that I you mention it, it probably is safer to do it the second way.
