Hi guys, recently I get into this whole tablet fantasy, and I am going to sell my big old 10 lbs Toshiba Satellite 5205-S505.
Ok, I decided to buy a refb tablet on ebay bez the price is low. I chose TC1100 and ST502X (the one with 12inch LCD) to be the bidding target.
Now, I am concerning about the viewability of the LCD screen for the TC 1100 and the ST502X in ebay (bez those 12" are XGA indoor on ebay.) How many of u have personally compared the TC1100 and ST502x under an outdoor condition? I just want to know are they useable under indirect sun light like u sitting outside under a tree with some light pointing to u tablet? I am in CA so I want to know how guys feel.
Then I have a question about the size. Although they are slim, do u like the even spaced panel of TC1100 or the uneven spaced panel of ST502X? I mean the battery which stick out of the ST502X, does it bother u? Or does it help u? I think it will help u, right? bez if u held a notebook close to ur body, u normally won't write on the last line unless u move the notebook a bit forward. Then the battery stick out to keep the end of the screen workable, right? Man..... but TC1100 sure looks great on landscape mode..... What do u think?
I am a student, who need a updatable dictionary, portable note taking machine, guitar notes storing and displaying device with guitar tuning freature (I use guitar pro on my satellie to store most of my guitar notes, if I have a tablet I will be able to read it on poritressajdf(spelling) mode. Did any of u think the tablet mic/soundcard on guitar tuning software? My satellie yamaha+mic did a good job, while my frd's Dell can't make the tuning meter stay still at all. I am using a software called "AP guitar tuner" which is made by a company called Audio Phonics Inc <they are gone but u can find software on the net> Can anyone guitar player try that out for me?), light weight (wow bring my 10 lbs satellie to school is hell !), and long battery life. One more thing ... I can write Chinese and read comic in a real nice way haha. Tablet is for me !
