I've just received an email from Microsoft regaring OneNote. They are shipping it to us and will arrive later this month. There doesn't seem to be a way to download it (without MSDN subscription that is), they just say they will mail it. Also, there is a link included to participate in a suggestion panel for the beta. This is not required to receive the beta, however.
Hopefully it will be a better beta than what Jstigall reviewed, but I'm pretty sure it will be buggy.

Just got the email also. They said it should be here later this month. I can't wait to try it out :)

You guys have every right to be excited. Even in its Beta 2 form, OneNote is, IMO, an outstanding app, and maybe more so, because it is so simple. I think Microsoft will develop it along the lines of Word (as an Office product) as compared to the free Journal (Wordpad in Windows). Pricing may be an interesting discussion, but for now wait for it, install it, and scribble and record away! :D

I got the email too. It's nice to know that my request didn't disappear.

I'm looking forward to trying this out.

Wow, I'm so glad I checked my email a couple days ago. I registered using my msn email account which I never use. When I checked my mail the other day it said they had deactivated my account b/c I had not logged in within the last 30 days. So I reactivated it. Just checked today and I got the email! Even if I missed the email I still would receive the CD in the mail, but I'm glad I saw the email. Like you guys, I can't wait to try it out!

I got the impression it was just OneNote, but maybe it is the entire Office beta.

I wouldn't mind getting office... but I signed up on the onenote site, and they didn't mention anything about the rest of office...

Well, some of you who didn't get an e-mail the first time around may still be in luck. I just recieved an e-mail saying my copy would ship in the next couple of weeks. Anyone else get one today?
