i looooove mine... no jitters here... i use it 24/7 for meeting note taking.. email.. reading... i even use it for composing music on the go..

I would recommend it to someone.. in fact i have to keep an eye on mine in the office, since there are about 20 other people that keep saying 'i want one...'

I will not buy any additional Fujitsu tablets because of the jitters as well as other issues the unit has been plagued with from the beginning.

While I still have some minor jitter near the edges, (new drivers installed), I nevertheless love this machine. This is a minor irritant to me. I would whole heartedly recommend it.

what other issues ? jitters and a dodgy video driver (now fixed) are the only things i know of... I evaluated a few tpcs... the fujitsu was the best in my opinion...

I have a few tablets - and they all act similar around the edges. Going between the Fujitsu and the Motion I notice NO difference in edge to edge pen movement.

I'd say you have a bad/problem unit. I found LVL1 tech support at Fujitsu to be non responsive. Ask to be pushed to level 2 - that's where you are most likley to get your issues addressed.

I would recommend the Fujitsu - in fact I have.

I have had the same issues (pen jitters). I home found that it gets worse coming out of sleep. Yesterday out of desperation I tried disabling the use pen button to right click and the eraser check boxes on the tablet setup menu. Although I am still experimenting it does seem to have made a huge improvement -so far

Glad it helped a little. I have not seen the calibration issues. Although I have not rotated the screen and I did have calibration nailed prior to making the change.

of course the bigger question is WHY DID THAT HELP AT ALL? clearly there is a jitter issue here that Fujitsu needs to resolve.

The right click and eraser settings seemed to help a bit but there are still jitters unlike any of our other tablets.

Thanks for the tip.

This is clearly an issue. I've noticed the pen jitters to be most pronounced when the fan is on (or right before the fan turns on.) Sometimes it gets so bad (in portrait mode) that I have a hard time holding the pen steady in order to minimize, maximize, or close windows.

I agree with Bartok. This is an issue that Fujitsu needs to address. My fix by turning off the right click button seems to have helped but it still is a problem. I have not figured out the pattern as to what makes it worse, but I think bartok is right in that it seems to be heat related.

I was thinking about ordering a different pen to see if that made a diferance, but I don't think it will (of course I didn't think turning off the right click button would work either).

Has anybody contacted Fujitsu? I'd be curious to know the offical response.

-George

Another data point: we have 3HP's in our lab and all of their pens jitter at the edges.
