ARGH! After messing around with my tablet yester

ARGH! After messing around with my tablet yesterday, the pen has stopped working at the "welcome" screen. Very troublesome, when I have to enter the password, as I have to connect an USB mouse to do so.

When I'm logged on, and the computer is ready for action, the pen works fine. Also if I log out after logging on with the mouse, the pen works in the "welcome" screen.

Any ideas?

Stopped working at all? Or erratic? There is a pre-boot screen calibration you can access by pressing the jog dial on boot. --Just a thought.

This is not erratic, it's the same every time:

Power up.
Welcome screen - pen not working.
Enter password - log in.
Windows running - pen is working fine.
Log out.
Welcome screen - pen is working.

It's like some small initialization thingy doesn't get loaded before the welcome screen, but logging on loads it.

I just thought some USB/HID ppl. hanging around here might know whats up.

I'm *not* reinstalling!
