Well, in a moment of gadget weakness, I got one of these for my TC1K. I am stuck with this model because I have Verizon. It sucked the battery down really quick! Thank god I have the cigar lighter adapter. Anyone else have this experience?

I have the sierra aircard 555 for the Verizon network too. How fast does your battery run down? I have noticed a difference, but I can still get between 3-4 hours. I normally have the brightness turned down and the Fujitsu battery optimizer turned on max power saving.

It ran down in 2 hours along with the install of the card software. I'll do some more testing today.

Further useage revealed that the card will cut my battery life by about 25%. I'm glad I bought the cigar lighter adapter.
