I did a clean os recovery and then installed the new updates, but now my journal will occasionally crash for no reason! sometimes the cursor (the dot in the journal) will disappear and won't come back. it is still there and you can write on it, but you can't see it. the only cure was to close that journal file and reload again. Has anyone experience similiar situation?

On the CMS upgrade it's mentioned that the upgrade is only for models that are *newer* than a certain age.

Perhaps the upgrade isn't intented for all TC1000's ???

hi lar, thanks for the info, but no, I bought mine on 11/27/02 so i don't think I am disqualify. Besides, 11/27/02 is the launch date of the tablet PC, so i think they are trying to say beta version are not qualify.

I had to revert back to the Nvidia driver 3760 from 3762. I was getting weird pen behavior in Journal under this version. I have applied the BIOS update yet since everything is working fine. The CMS upgrade is very nice though... L

Was the "weird pen behavior" dotted or dashed lines rather smooth lines? That's what I've been seeing since my upgrade.
