My pen is out of control! I know this is not the usual question, but my pen is too fast. I have my folder options set to single click, but just hovering, my apps are getting launched! Since the machine is already slow (even with the Cruesoe patch; I'm going to try add'l RAM next) it launches apps I don't want , and then crashes the machine, or at least hang it up. Any suggestions? I've altered the spatial tolerance to small and slowed the overall pointer speed to the slowest setting. Does anyone know what I can do or is this a defect. Thanks for any advice

this is the beginning of a faulty pen. You'll notice the problem getting worse. If you remove and reinstall the battery from the pen it will probably work for a short time. Try journal it will write without touching the screen. Compaq replaced mine overnight no questions asked.
