I got my ST4110 two days ago. The wireless card reported scanning... but no connection. I called tech support, and after some lengthy troubleshooting and elevation to level 2 tech support the next day, they had me ship the unit to their Memphis repair shop next day air on their dime. Should have it back early next week. I was really disappointed, since I didn't get the docking station, a network connection is the only way I can transfer files and install software.

My Fujitsu user just started having this same issue. I slapped in a ornico 802.11 a/b card, works loads better than the internal wireless anyway.

i've never actually opened up the covering for the wireless card.. whats behind it... i have noticed that the range on the card isnt as good as my netgear cards on some of my other devices... maybe its because its covered, but i get a 'avaerage' or 'low' signal where the netgear woudl give a 'excellent' or 'good' in the same location....
could i rip out the inbuilt card and put something else in its place? if you could how would the wireless on/off switch work? or did you add a wireless card to the pcmcia slot ?

I added it the pcmcia slot. He just pulls it before he boards a plane.
