Is there any reason why my battery LED only lights up when AC power is plugged in? I'm talking about the LED on the tablet, not on the battery itself. Both green and amber work.

My battery light comes back on (amber) when the battery is low.

Ditto. When I'm plugged in, and at full charge, it's green. When it's plugged in, and charging, it's amber. When it's low, it blinks amber.

So it's normal for the LED to be unlit when on full charge battery mode?

I believe that LED is to show charging state and low alarm only. Therefore it should be off on batteries.
