I've had my m200 for about a week now, and it has worked fine until now. The only thing ive really changed is I installed newer nvidia drivers, but that was a few days ago.
So, anyway, I was using it in tablet mode, and when I switched it back, the touchpad didnt work...
It registers tapping on it as clicks, but the mouse wont move. I checked the control panel, and it is indeed enabled...
Restarting did nothing..
any ideas?
Thanks.

I called toshiba today, and the guy had me check some settings, and then take out the battery and hold down the power button, and then power back up... didnt work. He seems to think its a hardware issue. Is there any chance a reformat/reinstall would fix it?
I REALLY dont want to send this in for a few weeks just for the touchpad...

Hello bignateyk,
From your list of devices [in the device manager] delete your mouse driver, reboot the computer. On restart Windows XP will reinstall the driver. This may resolve the problem if it is software (driver related).

hmm... did what you said, and it uninstalled the alps pointing driver, and installed a windows driver. It has the same problems, so it must be a hardware problem.
Not sure how it could have happened tho. I've only had it for a week, and it has worked perfectly until now, and there was never any excessive force or anything on it...
Looks like i'll have to deal with using a mouse when im at my desk, and using it in tablet mode until I can take it to a shop to get fixed instead of sending it in.

bignateyk,
I recommend you use the update driver routine to reinstall your Alps driver. That should put you back to working. At this point, I do not suspect hardware.
