I just installed the tpc office pack last night, and now everytime I start up journal, or even open a new file with journal already open, it pops up a screen asking if I want to install and run office pack. This could get very annoing after a while - What's up? Is this a bug, should I answer 'no'. what function does office pack add to journal, I thought it was geared to word, excel, ppt.

mainly I want to make it stop though, any thoughts, or anyone else having this problem?

Thanks for the help.

for the tablet xp office pack, YOU MUST trust microsoft and check the box that says to always trust software from microsoft. that's the only way to fix the problem that we all have had since release back in November.

Thanks for the info - but what the ??. What ever happened to giving the customer good info - does this mean that once I check the box that anything from ms that tries to install will do it without letting me know? I don't distrust MS that much, but i do like to know what's being installed on my computer before it happens.

Thanks again.:-(

it's just the office pack, i still get the "trust" prompt with everything else. so other than usual paranoia, don't think you have to worry about things.

But... I don't trust Microsoft. After a couple of bugs in their validation, I stopped saying trust them... this was confirmed in an article on InfoWorld.
