Does anyone know of software that will allow up to 30-40 minutes of dictation to be e-mailed to my secretary for her to transcribe. My Tablet PC has speech recognition software built in of course, but it is too difficult for my tastes to get usable. I want to use my Plantronics headset to dictate straight into the Tablet PC as a .wav or .mp3 file and then e-mail to my secretary to transcribe. Olympus has software combined with their digital dictaphones, but you have to buy the dictaphone. I don't need the dictaphone with the Tablet PC capabilities.

Total Recorder (http://www.totalrecorder.com/) is very good for that sort of thing, and quite cheap ($11 or so).

Great tip! Dictation Buddy at that site is perfect for what I was looking for. It allows you to dictate into your computer and then e-mail the file for transcription. And the software can be downloaded and tested for a month before purchase. Thanks.
