Hi everyone,
I'm having some issues with my m1400 and I'm hoping someone can help.
1. I have recently started to record lectures using the dual microphone array. After having the tablet for several years I finally broke down, took it out of it's bump case (so as to use the microphones), and am experiencing its screen in all its immaculate condition glory. I am running Onenote 2007 on Win XP tablet edition but the problem occurs when recording via sound recorder as well. When I playback any recordings I get a high-pitched noise that lasts 1-2 seconds on the recording and occurs about every 5 seconds or so. Very distracting when trying to focus on lecture material. I've fiddled with every sound setting I can play with and installed the latest drivers but nothing seems to help.
2. When using the tablet in its bump case (with the light sensor covered up and the dashboard settings set to fixed) the screen occassionally dims to minimum for 2-3 seconds and then returns to normal. This happens about 4-5 times before returning to normal for a while. Any ideas why this happens?
I love this little tablet and can't afford to get a new one so any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Philip
