How about some type of SDK where users can develop their own plug ins for the system?

For instance, right now I want to import my teachers HTML notes into GoBinder. There are about 100+ notes on which I would like to annotate. I could easily write a small plug in which would send a selection of files to GoBinder.

As a student I love GoBinder and think it is invaluable. But as a programmer I hate how I can't modify it! This will satify my needs and it will also have a community extending the application and making it more usable.

Another use, My school uses WebCT which is not yet integrated into the system, then getting my school to use the software which would allow me to sync would be impossible. To get around this I could write something which would scrape the contents of the HTMl files and get important information which is always in the same place such as general Anouncements, Homework assignments, Tests etc...

Although this isn't a total solution to the GoBinder SDK (which I would also love to have, BTW), but you might be interested in their infinotes product:

We plan on releasing an SDK next year.

Sweet! Can I participate in a beta?

Seriously? Agilix rocks.

GoBinder is an excellent product. An SDK would make it approach perfection, IMHO.

I'm in total agreement -- an SDK would be another huge boost to the TPC community [thumbsup]. Any possibility this might extend to the PlanPlus product line?

And, when can we all buy stock in Agilix? :D

Now this is an important question that we might have to dedicate a full forum to. [money]

Software Development Kit. It typically gives developers flexability in extending features of an existing software product by opening up programming calls, publishing the specs of DLL's, etc.

What programming languages will your planned SDK support? Will it be available as a plugin to Visual Studio .NET?

Yes, it will be based on .NET.

Great! If you could add some controls to Winforms to help produce a GoBinder-like user interface, developers could write their extensions to show a consistent user interface with GoBinder itself.
