But on the HP website, there are only 2 types of TC1100, so what's this? Is it a joke?

$2,299.00

And it might just be a mistake but I don't think there is any model that comes with a "triple black case".

Also, from the web Site the options for the hard drive are:
Hard Drive
SMART hard drive, 30GB, 40GB (4200 rpm), or 60GB (5400 rpm)

yeah, I don't know about that, buying a laptop off ebay is hard. I should know, I had to go through two scammers before I found one honest one. If it sounds too good to be true, it just might be (thats what everyone kept telling me when I was buying one). If you want, I could post who I bought from on ebay

Although HP doesn't release such the TC1100, but the seller said: "I bought this at a Trade Show in Florida and all I know about the Unit is that it is brand new and has only been opened prior to purchase to make sure everything was in the factory box. I have two of these and will list the second one after this sells."

If you are looking to purchase a TC1100 I may be interested in selling mine. I have a TC1100 with 60GB, 1GB RAM, Bluetooth, WIFI, Docking Station, Upscale leather case, extra battery, battery charger, Auto/power charger, Cross Pen w/Cap & HP Leather Portfolio case that I will sell for $2,000. This is a $1,000 savings if you were to purchase this new.

Hi csterns,
I'm also looking for a good deal TC1100 Centrino. But I need to be able to get my hands on a german windows install.
I know that the units sell with a dual language CD (english/german) over here - is there anything like that with yours?
Thanks in advance,
Andy
