Just got meh tablet...oooooooo meh tablet m200 pwn...first thing I note though is it's impossible to find a desktop pic that will satisfy being stretched when shifting modes and still be appealing.

-Is there a way that the desktop can be configured to have diffrent wall paper for portrait vs. landscape modes?

-If so, where can I find some 1337 desktops and how to implement them?

tks

reggud,

Here's a link to Wallpaper Gyro - about 1/2 way down the page.

Sorry, but I don't understand this question.

If so, where can I find some 1337 desktops and how to implement them?

Ah, WNewQuay, behind the curve in net lingo I guess. "1337" means "leet" as in "elite", meaning cool. All the "cool" hacker kids talk like this. I don't know all the 1337 letter codes, but here are a few. 1=L, 3=E, 4=A, 7=T. So, if I bought a bluish green car, I might say it is "7341".

blink182prj,

Old enough to have used "cool" before "kuhl", "kewel", and now "1337"

Maybe it is some double encrypted meaning numerology too. You do remember numerology don't you?

Best way to deal with the desktop is to make a 1400x1400 background picture. Take a big picture, like from a digital camera, and take the best square out of it. Set it as your wallpaper, and then turn off stretch. When in desktop mode you'll see it widescreen, and when in tablet mode you'll see it taller, cutting off the sides. I think this arrangement is pretty sweet myself.
