I have a new M200, I am trying to install a Busl

I have a new M200, I am trying to install a Buslink USB CD ROM. When I plug it in, the M200 becomes extremely slow. Does anyone have or know of this problem or have a solution? Buslink uses Windows XP drivers.

Is the Buslink USB ... USB 1x or USB 2x?

When you attach the CD ROM device, does it have a CD in it?

I have tried it both ways and the M200 still slows to almost a halt when I plug in the CD ROM

Buslink is USB 2x.

Have you tried troubleshooting the problem by hooking the USB drive to another computer and seeing how that works for comparison?

I've never tried the Buslink model, but the Toshiba model and the Sony model work like charms here.
